Porsche Panamera Conversível

A Porsche pretende lançar uma versão conversível do Panamera. Esta versão do primeiro quatro portas da Porsche terá apenas duas portas, o motivo é manter o peso e a rigidez estrutural, a capota usada será de lona, pois o sistema da capota rígida é muito pesado.

O construtor alemão ainda não confirmou oficialmente o lançamento do Panamera Cabrio, no entanto, o responsável de desenvolvimento de produto, Wolfgang Duerheimer, já deixou no ar que planeiam novas variantes. “Temos 14 derivativos do 911 e todos eles são um sucesso. Então é lógico que também deveríamos diversificar a gama Panamera”, revelou o responsável de desenvolvimento de produto.

A nova direção da Porsche, agora liderada pelo presidente do Grupo VW, Martin Winterkorn, tem planos muito ambiciosos para a marca de desportivos, que passa por aumentar as vendas anuais de 100 mil para 150 mil carros por ano a partir de 2013.

Luxury limo stretches the image of Hyundai

Its name once synonymous with cheap cars, Hyundai continues to strive for its luxury credentials. Now the Korean brand is taking aim at Mercedes-Benz and BMW with a stretched version of the Equus, its luxury flagship.

To create its limousine, Hyundai extended the Equus sedan's wheelbase 11.8 inches to about 132 inches--longer than stretched-wheelbase versions of the Mercedes S-class and BMW 7-series sedans.

The Equus Limousine is on sale in South Korea at prices ranging from about $113,700 to $123,100. That's right: almost a buck and a quarter for a Hyundai.

Orders are being taken, even though no production date has been announced for the limousine. But three bulletproof models have been built for service at South Korea's presidential palace.

The Equus shares a rear-drive platform with the Hyundai Genesis sedan. U.S. sales of the nonstretched version of the Equus begin late next year, with an expected sticker price under $60,000. Hyundai Motor America won't comment on possible U.S. sales of the Equus Limousine.

Audi Q7 2010 no Brasil

Assim como a Land Rover Freelander, o Audi Q7 também vem para o Brasil.

O Q7 vem agora com faróis com iluminação LEDs e grade com filetes em alumínio. De série ele traz Ar-condicionado digital com quatro zonas de regulagem de temperatura, sensores de estacionamento na dianteira e traseira, câmera instalada na tampa do porta-malas e piloto automático com controle de distância em relação ao veículo da frente.

Ele vem com motor 3.6 V6, que gera 284 cv e 4.2 V8, capaz de desenvolver 355 cv com tração integral nas rodas. O Q7 terá valores que vão de 278 mil reais para a versão com seis cilindros e 349 mil reais no caso da topo-de-linha V8.

Carro conceito para duas pessoas da Nissan

Para o próximo Salão de Tóquio a Nissan irá mostrar o seu novo carro conceito, o Land Glider, é um carro totalmente elétrico e leva duas pessoas.

O motorista fica na parte central do veículo com painel futurista que tem um volante que parece um manche. Mas a diferença principal deste carrinho é que ele se inclina nas curvas como as motos. Veja abaixo o vídeo do Land Glider.

Because of the expense involved, the decision to ask for the cooperation of Interflora-France was only taken after a visit to Grenoble by Paul-Claude SILVERI, Chairman and Managing Director for France, accompanied by Jean PAUCOD, Interfloras, representative for the department of the Isere.

In accordance with the promises made, the decoration was completed for the Opening of the Press Centre fixed for 15th January 1968. It had taken five and a half weeks.
About four hundred metre-long flower boxes, painted in white, were carefully buried in Dutch peat; these flower boxes, as well as the pot plants and flowers aroused general admiration.

This decoration alone was worth 30,000 F. As well as this, the contribution of Interflora consisted of about a hundred, massive decorative plants and bushes, for example, Laurels, Guelder roses, majestic palm trees and cone laurels 2,50 metres high, specially imported from Belgium. The value of these plants alone was about 20,000 F.

STAMPS WORTH 46,000 F.

As well as the telecommunication installations placed in each language group, the Post Office Authorities had opened a Post Office. 46,000 F. worth of stamps were sold there. More than 50,000 expeditions were made of which 6,389 by Air Mail.
As well as this, the office, registered 2,060 telephone communications, sent 392 telegrams and paid 252 money orders. It was open from 7.30am to 9pm.

651 RESERVATIONS

— Reception for Radio and Television journalists.
— Freight office.

The Radio-Television Reception open from 9am to 12 and 2pm to 8pm made 241 reservations for about 50 tickets sold. A hostess was always present to receive and inform the radio-television journalists.

The reception for the Press was open from 8am to 8pm, with three agents under the responsibility of an official from the Public Relations Department. This agency made 410 reservations and issued 130 tickets for the European lines and the long distance services.

The organization of the Olympic Games necessitated important adaptations of the urban road systems. The work was planned and executed so that it could be integrated in the town planning and the structural schemes of the Grenoble conurbation.

The whole of this work entailed the creation of 17 kms of new roads: 47,000 metres of kerb, 34,000 metres of guttering, 300,000 square metres of surfacing, 12,000 metres of drains.
The cost of this work is about 32 million francs.

The service also collaborated in the study and drafting of specification files, the execution and financing of the equipment which was executed under the control of the Highway Department or the S.N.C.F. The town of Grenoble financed all this work which cost about 20 million francs.

THREE PROJECTS INTENDED FOR NATIONAL EDUCATION

Three projects intended for National Education were executed with the cooperation of the Technical Services and, in particular the Architectural Division.
These buildings were used for various purposes during the Olympic Games.
The total cost of these buildings was about 21 million francs.

475 ROAD SIGNS INSTALLED

The important projects were completed for the Opening of the Games, and the bye-laws concerning traffic during the Games had been approved by the Prefecture.

At the Opening of the Games, the traffic service of the town had to deal with three principal points:
— Installation of road signs on mobile supports, to publish the regulations of the municipal bye-laws.
— Supervision and repair day and night, of the traffic lights at 60 road junctions in the town of Grenoble.
— Information to the public on the traffic during the Games. 475 road signs were put in place by the end of the Games.
As a result of the organization by the Town of Grenoble, and the employment of an important police service, the traffic situation inside Grenoble was satisfactory during the Olympic period.

TEAMS ALWAYS ON CALL

The general organization of the maintenance service for the roads of the town had to be modified during the Olympic period.

Permanent duty teams, each consisting of a foreman, 8 men and 3 vehicles ensured the security service, day and night, in shifts of eight hours each. They were ready to cope with all kinds of incidents, such as snow falls, icy roads, road or pavement subsidence, oil or diesel oil on the roads after an accident, etc... These teams, put into service after 29th January 1968 worked until 19 February.

105 TONS OF HOUSE-HOLD REFUSE

During the Olympic period the Health Services of the town carried out the daily collection of the refuse of the Olympic Village and the Press Centre in hermetically sealed cans, and also the twice daily collection of refuse from the four Olympic restaurants.
This service was also carried out on Sundays.

As the Olympic Village and the Press Centre were enclosed, the dust bins had to be transported on trolleys to certain outlying points which were accessible to the vans.

Besides this a special service for the collection of cardboard boxes, and also bulky waste materials was operated every day.
The weight of all waste materials collected from the Olympic Village the Press Centre, and the 4 Olympic restaurants may be estimated at 8 tons per day.
For the period extending from 6th to 18th of February the total was about 105 tons.

THE CLEANING OF THE PUBLIC ROADS

The municipal road cleaning teams were doubled by teams from private firms. These firms took part in the cleaning every day including Sunday from 12 to 5 p.m. during all the Olympic period.
A day duty service was also carried out during this period so that a cleaning team could be sent to any place where required.

The Arhievements of The Minicipal Gas of The Town of Grenoble

French Electricity Board

For the Olympic Games, the Gas and Electricity Company of Grenoble had to guarantee the supply of electricity during the periods of preparation, and above all during the events. To do this, efforts were made on the following points.

POWER GUARANTEED IN MEDIUM VOLTAGE

The power required was concentrated in two important points:
— Paul Mistral Park
Ice Stadium — power installed: 1,600 KVA
• Speed Circuit — power installed: 1,000 KVA
• Skating Rink — power installed: 500 KVA

— South zone including
• The equipment of the Olympic Village in the Priority Development Zone (1,600 new apartments).
• The equipment of the Press Centre in the Malherbe district.

NEW DISTRIBUTION NETWORK

The creation of the Olympic Village and Press Centre districts for the Games, led the Company to construct a complete network including medium voltage, low voltage, public lighting and remote control. The company, in complete charge of this work, was responsible for the execution or supervision of the new installations.

Were put into service in September 1967:
— 20 prefabricated posts, with a total power of 5000 kVA.
— 64 metres of Cables MV or LV of different sections.
This work cost about 2 million francs.

A distributor post with double supply and overall metre system permitted operations in safety. For the period from 1st January 1968 to 29th February 1968, the total energy provided for the Games was about 2,500,000 kilowatt-hours.

For the illuminations and various shows, two hundred boxes or terminals operated by remote control were installed in the different important roads of the town.
From 4th to 18th February, 60 of the representatives of the Electricity Company were on duty at the critical points to ensure the supply of current. During this period there were no incidents.

THE IMPROVEMENT OF PUBLIC LIGHTING

The number of lights increased from 6,835 on 1st January 1967 to 10,212 on 1st January 1968, representing a power of 2,100 KV. The principal roads of the town were equipped with balloon-type fluorescent lamps, of 400, 700 or 1,000 watts. Posts 14 and 16 metres high, equipped with 6 lamps of 700 or 1,000 watts were used to light large spaces.

The intensity of light on the ground, although fairly uniform throughout the town, was increased to 25, 45 or 60 lux, at certain places on the important arteries.
Also, for the Olympic Games, an effort was made for particular illuminations. All the sculptures of the International Symposium of August 1967, as well as the façades of the churches of Saint-Laurent and Saint-Louis were appropriately illuminated.

GAS

The work carried out for the Olympic Games can be classed in two categories:
— the complete equipment of a zone where no housing existed before the Games (Priority Urban Development Zone, MALHERBE);
— work due to the modification of the roads and railways (flyovers or underground passages, widening new roads, etc...).
The work of the first category concerned a group of buildings which contained about 2.200 apartments, intended for the use of the population of Grenoble after the Games.

The Company was therefore obliged to undertake, in this zone of 65 hectares, important equipment installations which had to be completed in one year. 10 kms of medium and low pressure canalisations, from 100 to 250 mm in diameter, were laid, and also 180 service pipes 40 to 80 mm in diameter: a gas pressure reducer of a nominal capacity of 3,000 m3 per hour was also built.

The works in the second category, were spread over several parts of the town.
All this work was carried out, using new techniques, and taking into account that natural gas will be available in Grenoble about 1972, and taking care to ensure the continuity of distribution with maximum security and regularity.

The whole of this work, costing 2,400,000 F. required the laying of 20,800 metres of pipes of diameters 40 to 350 mm. So, in the field of Gas and Electricity the Grenoble Company was able to satisfy all demands, often in difficult conditions as the time available was limited and important sums of money had to be invested, over and above the normal programme.

The expenses for the installation of projectors were shared between Electricity of France, COJO and the Municipalities concerned:
— So, in the Oisans, the church towers of the following villages were illuminated at night-fall.
— LA GARDE and HUEZ, villages perched on the mountain side, and situated on the beautiful route leading to the Olympic resort of Alpe d'Huez.
— LE FRENEY-D'OISANS, in the deep valley of the Romanche.
— MIZOEN, from where the admirable site of the Chambon lake can be seen.
— MONT-DE-LANS, on the other side of the valley from MIZOEN, above the dam of Chambon, a picturesque village on the route which leads to the resort of DEUX-ALPES.
— LA GRAVE, opposite the glaciers of the «Massif de la Meije».
— VILLARD-D'ARÈNE, finally, at an altitude of 1,650 metres is the last locality on the road of the Passes of Lautaret and Galibier.
— Further North, in the valley of Gresivaudan, near the Isere, the little town of La TERRASSE.
— On one of the roads leading to the Olympic resort of Chamrousse, VAULNAVEYS-LE-HAUT, with its fifteenth century church tower.
— To the South of Grenoble, the Church at Vif whose square Norman tower has kept its twelfth century structure.
— In the Vercors, as well as the tower of the little church of Saint-Nizier du Moucherotte, which miraculously escaped the destruction of the village in 1944, the Memorial of the Pioneers of the Vercors, erected to the memory of the Resistance heroes, killed in the bitter fighting of the Liberation, was also illuminated on the slope overlooking Grenoble.
— Finally, from the top of the 2,200 m. Cross of Chamrousse, a powerful luminous signal, threw its beam towards Grenoble, recalling the presence there of the great Olympic resort.
Another, less spectacular participation, which was greatly appreciated by the motorists taking the difficult road of Lautaret, was the lighting, in collaboration with the Highway Department of the Hautes-Alpes, of the three road tunnels, the passage of which is known to be very difficult, by day as well as by night.

THE «TROIS PUCELLES» CLIFFS ILLUMINATED

Finally, a prestige achievement, dedicated to the Mountain, to the Olympic Games, and to the hardy pioneers, who made Grenoble the cradle of «white coal»; the spectacular illumination of the «Trois Pucelles» Cliffs.

This rock which marks, with the snow capped ridge of the Moucherotte, 1,900 metres high, the first spur of the Massif of the Vercors, dominates Grenoble and overlooks the immense Stadium of the Olympic Ski-jump, not far from Saint-Nizier du Moucherotte.

A Land Rover anunciou a linha 2010 do Freelander. Ele continua com o mesmo visual e as versões oferecidas para o mercado brasileiro são a S básica, SE intermediária que ganhou faróis de bi-xenon de série e a top de linha HSE.

Por dentro vem com bancos e ferros em couro Ar-condicionado digital com duas zonas de regulagem, freios com sistema anti-travamento (ABS), sistema de som Alpine com 12 alto-falantes e leitura de arquivos em MP3, piloto automático, partida do motor sem a chave e nove airbags são alguns dos itens oferecidos de série em todas as versões.

O Freelander tem motor 3.2 de 24 válvulas com 233 cv, e vai de 0 a 100 km/h em 8,9 segundos com velocidade máxima é de 200 km/h.

Todas as versões trazem tração integral nas quatro rodas, sistema Terrain Response, que adapta os ajustes de motor, câmbio e tração de acordo com as condições de aderência do piso.
A linha 2010 do Freelander já está disponível na rede de concessionárias da Land Rover. Seus preços variam entre 132 mil reais e 169 mil reais.

O Fiat Stilo ganhou uma nova versão de entrada mais em conta. O Stilo Attractive 1.8 Flex. Ficando com o preço de R$ 46.290. Com câmbio Dualogic o Stilo Attractive sai por R$ 48.770. Antes a versão mais barata saia por R$ 49.910.

Ele traz de série direção elétrica, ar-condicionado, vidros dianteiros, travas e retrovisores elétricos, volante com regulagem em altura e profundidade, banco do motorista com regulagem em altura, computador de bordo, personalização de comandos e faróis de neblina. Para o Stilo Attractive sair um pouco mais em conta foram retirados as rodas de alumínio de 16 ´´, sistema de áudio e controlador de velocidade.



Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano com edição Limitada

A apresentou uma edição especial do 599 GTB Fiorano para os chineses. Edição denominada 599 GTB Fiorano HGTE China Limited Edition. Desenvolvida em parceria com o atista plástico chinês chinês Lu Hão.

A Edição é limitada mesmo, serão produzidas apenas 12 unidades e cada exemplar vem com um desenho inspirado na cultura chinesa.

Lu Hao utilizou os tradicionais caracteres chineses para identificar as respectivas placas alusivas, o botão de ignição do motor e a graduação do conta-giros.

O motor é um V12 de 6 litros com 620 cavalos de potência. A Ferrari não divulgou os preços.




Chevrolet Agile lançado oficialmente

Hoje (06/10/09) em Mendonza, Argentina. A Chevrolet lançou o Agile, que chega as concessionária nas próximas semanas.

O Agile foi desenvolvido nos últimos três anos e entra no mercado para concorrer contra os hatchs Fox e Sandero.

Ele terá duas versões o Agile LT com preços que partem de R$ 37.708 e vão até R$ 38.930 escolhendo airbag duplo frontal opcional. A versão básica do LT vem com chega equipada com rodas aro 15 de aço, ar-condicionado, direção hidráulica, ajuste de altura para bancos, computador de bordo com controlador de velocidade (piloto automático), acendimento automático de faróis e vidros dianteiros elétricos.

Já na versão Agile LTZ , os preços partem de R$ 39.601 e vem com rodas de alumínio, espelhos retrovisores com ajuste elétrico, faróis de neblina e rádio com CD, MP3/WMA, conexão auxiliar, USB e Bluetooth. Caso queira colocar também no pacote lanterna de neblina, vidros traseiros elétricos e airbag duplo frontal e freios com ABS (antitravamento) 8.1 com EBD (distribuição da força de frenagem) vai ter que desembolsar o total de R$ 42.706.

Ele tem 27 porta-objetos e o porta-malas, de 327 litros de capacidade, pode carregar até 1 140 litros de bagagem com os assentos rebatidos. O motor é um 1.4 Econo.Flex 102 cv a álcool usando gasolina cai para 97 cv. Ele vai de 0 a 100 em km/h em 12 segundos.

2 – Sistema de Arrefecimento

Um sistema de arrefecimento ineficiente ou danificado pode contribuir para o surgimento ou causar o engripamento e escoriação.

As razões para que isso aconteça se dão pelo seguinte:
- A queima do combustível em motores de combustão interna gera muito calor: Cerca de 30% dessa energia térmica é transformada em trabalho mecânico cerca de 35% do restante é expedido com os gases de descarga e aproximadamente 35% do calor total da combustão deve ser absorvido pelo sistema de arrefecimento e pelo óleo lubrificante.

Esta é uma tarefa considerável, pois por exemplo, um motor de 200 cv pode gerar mais de 125.000 kilocalorias por hora, que devem ser eliminadas como calor perdido.

Qualquer perda de água, redução da superfície de radiação, redução do fluxo de ar ou redução da taxa da transferência de calor dos cilindros para a água do sistema de arrefecimento, reduzirá o ritmo com que o calor é dissipado do motor.

Assim sendo, sempre que o calor for produzido mais rapidamente do que o sistema de arrefecimento for capaz de dissipá-lo, a temperatura do motor subirá e a água poderá ferver, formando assim pontos de superaquecimento. As temperaturas excessivas de operação por sua vez, provocam uma excessiva dilatação das partes e a ruptura do filme de óleo lubrificante e ocorre, então, o contato de metal com metal entre as partes em movimento e, consequentemente, o engripamento ou escoriação do motor.

Observação:
Os sistemas de arrefecimento a água [também chamados de sistemas de “refrigeração”], além da própria água, são abastecidos também com aditivos que, além de elevarem o ponto de ebulição da água, são também anti-corrosivos.

Essa mistura de água mais aditivos é, normalmente chamada de “liquido arrefecedor”,

Vamos analisar portanto, como localizar e inspecionar as partes do sistema de arrefecimento que podem provocar os problemas acima citados.

A – Vazamentos Externos

O calor, a água e o ar provocam, com o passar de tempo, dilatações, endurecimento, fendas ou apodrecimento nas mangueiras do radiador, reduzindo sua vida útil.

Por isso, é importante que, periodicamente, se lhes faça uma inspeção completa.

Para tanto, desaperte as braçadeiras e tire as mangueiras. Verifique tanto a parte interna como a externa de cada mangueira e substitua-a quando estiver esponjosa, enferrujada, muito dura ou rachada.

Uma mangueira endurecida e rachada permitirá o vazamento da água ou a entrada do ar e a aeração da água pode acelerar a formação de ferrugem, numa porção 30 vezes maior que a normal. As mangueiras amolecidas e podres, por sua vez, soltam partículas de borracha que se alojam nos tubos do radiador prejudicando a circulação da água. Além disso, mangueiras amolecidas também podem contrair-se durante a operação do motor a alta velocidade, reduzindo a circulação da água e provocando superaquecimento (embora, com o motor em marcha lenta a mangueira talvez não se contraia).

B – Vazamento de água para os cilindros ou para o carter

Mesmo um pequeno vazamento para dentro dos cilindros pode provocar o engripamento de anéis e pistões pela diluição do óleo lubrificante e consequentemente ruptura do filme de óleo.

Sempre que se verifica uma perda gradativa de água, e não houver, entretanto, sinais de vazamento externo ou perda pelo ladrão do radiador, há possibilidade de estar ocorrendo um vazamento de água para dentro de um cilindro ou para o carter.

Para se verificar se existe este tipo de vazamento faça a seguinte prova:

1 – Remova a correia do ventilador ou desligue o acoplamento da bomba de água para impedir o funcionamento desta. Remova o termostato e a mangueira superior de radiador.
2 – Encha o sistema de arrefecimento até que transborde.
3 – Levante as rodas traseiras com um mancado e engate a marcha mais longa.
4 – Acelere o motor e vá freando e soltando o freio de pé, espaçadamente.

Se a água que esta no alojamento do termostato começara borbulhar ou se aumentar de nível de repente, é sinal que existem vazamento no sistema, que poderá ser por exemplo, por um cabeçote trincado como na figura abaixo.


Uma trinca no cabeçote pode provocar o vazamento de água para dentro do cilindro.

Observação:
Deve-se fazer essa prova rapidamente, antes que se inicie a ebulição, pois as borbulhas de valor darão resultados enganadores.

Com o motor desmontado identifica-se esse tipo de vazamento pela aparência do pistão.

Um pistão gravemente corroído, pela infiltração de água no cilindro, é ilustrado na figura abaixo.


Uma corrosão intensa, é facilmente identificada pela aparência salpicada, meio cinzenta.
