Conceito da Volkswagen que faz 41km/l

O protótipo Up! Lite Concept da Volkswagen foi apresentado no Salão de Los Angeles. O carro faz a incrível media de 41 km/litro de diesel.

Para chegar a esta marca a Volkswagen utilizou um motor turbodiesel, com 0,8 litro com 51 cavalos em conjunto com um motor elétrico de 10 Kw e câmbio seqüencial de sete marchas. Para reduzir o peso, na carroceria foi utilizada fibra de carbono e nas rodas o alumínio. Para ajudar na aerodinâmica foram retirados os espelhos e colocado câmeras de vídeo no lugar.

Mesmo com este motor pequeno o Up! Lite Concept vai de 0 a 100 km/h em 12,5 segundos e atinge máxima de 160 km/h.

Chery A3 vem para o Brasil batizado pelos internautas como Cielo

O Chery A3 será apresentado no Brasil com o nome Cielo. O nome foi escolhido por meio de votação na Internet promovida pela montadora, onde nove mil participantes sugeriram nomes para o carro.

De acordo com a empresa, dois participantes enviaram a mesma sugestão e serão premiados com visitas às fábricas da Chery, nas cidades de WuHu (China) e Montevidéu (Uruguai).

Os vencedores foram Edmilson Salvador, de Santa Bárbara do Oeste (SP), e Melina Machado, de Santos (SP), que optaram pelo nome por causa do nadador Cesar Cielo, medalha de ouro nas Olimpíadas de Pequim.

O lançamento do Cielo esta previsto para 2010. O Chery Cielo será oferecido somente na opção com motor 1.6 16 válvulas a gasolina de 119 cv de potência e câmbio manual de 5 marchas.

A Volkswagen finalmente revela as fotos da picape média Amarok.

Ela será fabricada na Argentina e vendida no mercado brasileiro a partir de março ela é a primeira picape deste tamanho, projetada na Alemanha.

Ela vem com o motor 2.0 turbodiesel com potencias de 163 cv e 122 cv e com transmissão manual de seis velocidades.

Em uma primeira etapa ela será oferecida apenas com carroceria cabine dupla. A caçamba tem 2,52 metros quadrados e capacidade de carga de 1.150 quilos.

A Audi revelou a nova geração do sedã A8. O modelo vem com mudança no visual e inovações tecnológicas.

A estrutura feita em alumínio foi desenvolvida pela Audi e reduz o seu peso em 40% e tem 5,137 m de comprimento, 1,949 m de largura, 1,406 m de altura e 2,992 m de distância entre os eixos.

O A8 vem com apenas uma opção de motor o 4.2 FSI V8 com 377 cv de potencia, a transmissão é a tiptronic de oito velocidades e sistema de tração integral Quattro de série. Ele vai de 0 a 100 km/h em 7,5 segundos e chegando a máxima de 250 por hora.

O sistema multimídia tem tela sensível ao toque com reconhecimento de caligrafia o sistema conta com detecção de pedestres, visão noturna e farois de LEDs que trabalham com diferentes níveis de sensibilidade, de dia ou à noite.
