4. McLaren F1

The fastest racing car before the introduction of Bugatti Veyron, the McLaren F1 was designed and manufactured by Gordon Murray and McLaren Automotive. The car was first unveiled at a launch show, 28 May 1991, at The Sporting Club in Monaco. The motorsport division BMW M designed and built Murray a custom 6.1 L (6064 cc) 60-degree V12 engine called the BMW S70/2. To reduce the excessive heat from the carbon fiber body panels and monocoque, Murray used golf foil, a highly efficient heat-reflector: approximately 25 g (0.8 ounce) of gold was used in each car. The McLaren F1 was the first production road car to use a complete carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) monocoque chassis structure. The car features a central driving position – the driver’s seat is located in the middle, ahead of the fuel tank and ahead of the engine, with a passenger seat slightly behind and on either side. The overall drag coefficient on the standard McLaren F1 is 0.32. There is a small rear spoiler on the tail of the vehicle, which is dynamic, the device will adjust dynamically and automatically attempt to balance the center of gravity of the car under braking, which will be shifted forward when the brakes are applied. The spoiler increases the overall drag coefficient from 0.32 to 0.39 and is activated at speeds equal to or above 40 mph (64 km/h) by brake line pressure. The McLaren F1 uses 235/45ZR17 front tires and 315/45ZR17 rear tires, specially designed and developed by Goodyear and Michelin. The F1 features unassisted, vented and crossdrilled brake discs made by Brembo. With a maximum speed of 240 mph the F1 can reach to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds. The standard McLaren F1 performs the 60-0 mph brake exercise in 2.8 seconds, coming to a full halt in 127 ft (39 m). Up until 1998, when McLaren produced and sold the standard F1 models, they had a price tag of around 970 000 USD. Today the cars can sell for up to nearly twice that of the original price, due to the performance and exclusivity of the machine.

It is named after French racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti. The Veyron features an 8.0 L W16 engine — 16 cylinders in two banks of eight cylinders, or the equivalent of two narrow-angle V8 engines mated in a “W” configuration. The engine is fed by four turbochargers and displaces 7,993 cubic centimeters. The transmission consists of a dual-clutch Direct-Shift Gearbox computer-controlled manual gearbox with seven gear ratios, with magnesium paddles behind the steering wheel and a shift time of less than 150 milliseconds. It uses special Michelin PAX run-flat tires, designed specifically for the Veyron. The Bugatti Veyron has a total of 10 radiators and has a drag coefficient of 0.41 (normal condition) and 0.36 (after lowering to the ground). According to Volkswagen Group, final production Veyron engine produces 736 kilowatts and generates 1,250 N-m of torque. This supercar can reach 200 and 300 km/h in 7.3 and respectively 16.7 seconds, wining the name of the quickest-accelerating production car in history. The brakes are cross-drilled, radially-vented Carbon fiber-reinforced Silicon Carbide (C/SiC) composite discs, specially manufactured by SGL Carbon. As an added safety feature, in the event of brake failure, an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) has also been installed on the handbrake. Representatives of media conglomerate Viacom accuse video hosting YouTube in infringement of copyrights.

Viacom asserts:

"Founders of video service know about presence on a site of the big number of videoclips which are noted by a copyright.
Moreover, according to Viacom, founder YouTube (Steve Chen) purposefully urged steal another's videoclips for increase in popularity of a resource."
All video are loaded in the own YouTube web hosting, for this reason it is impossible to refuse claims.

My YouTubeEmployees YouTube have put forward Viacom countercharges. They have declared, that at least 18 marketing agencies employed by corporation deliberately placed videoclips Viacom on a video hosting. Besides, the part from video of which larceny Viacom accuses YouTube, has been loaded on a site by employees of the media company.

Legal dispute Viacom and YouTube lasts more than three years. In February, 2007 the American media conglomerate owning television channels MTV and Comedy Central, has demanded to remove with YouTube approximately 100,000 videoclips. Their requirement has been executed, all videoclips with webhosting have been removed.

In March of the same year Viacom has submitted to judicial instance the claim on Google and YouTube, having demanded to indemnify a loss for the sum of 1 billion dollars.
